A Graveside Service for Frank Ellis, 90, of Hartselle, AL, will be on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Jay Terry officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Ellis was born in Morgan County to Vercy L. Ellis and Mary Sue Thompson Ellis on December 9, 1935. He passed away at his home on June 16, 2026.
Frank had a B.S. Degree in Chemistry and was a Quality Control Manager at Fruehauf prior to his retirement. He was also a beef cattle farmer and continued that well after he retired. He served as a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Hartselle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife- JoAnn Penn Ellis as well as his second wife- Claudelle Griggs Ellis, each of whom shared a meaningful chapter of his life; as well as his parents.
Survivors include:
Son- Joel Ellis (Rose Marie)
Brother- Gilmer Ellis (Joan)
Grandchildren- Will Ellis (Leanna Grantland) and Sarah Terry (Jay)
Great Grandchildren- Brooks Wallace, Keaton Terry and Blair Terry
Pallbearers will be friends and family
