Mr. Jimmie D. “Jimboe” Leeth, 79, died on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 4, 1946, in Cullman County, to Ossie Leeth and Eloy “Christine” Hopper Leeth.
He was employed by Bob Schofield as an Auto Mechanic, prior to his retirement. Jimboe was a great man who was very hardworking, was a great dad, pawpaw and brother, and was very caring toward everyone. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, building and working on cars and loved the Three Stooges. He was a wonderful husband to his wife, Sherry, for 40 years, prior to her passing.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Sherry, two children- Cody Leeth and Jessica Leeth, a son-in-law: Philip Cranor, and a brother-in-law: Alvin George.
Survivors include
Son – Matthew Leeth (Nicholas),
Daughter – Joanna Leeth (Jana),
Sister – Brenda George,
Grandchildren – Donovan Leeth and Claire Cranor,
and his large extended family and friends, who loved him very much.
