Funeral service for Robert “Poochie” Allen, 78, will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Center Springs Methodist Church with Bro. Johnny Maxwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Center Springs Methodist Church.
Mr. Allen died on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his residence. He was born March 11, 1948, in Morgan County, to Gilbert Allen and Jessie Thomas Vessels Allen.
He was employed by 3M Company as a Chemical operator and a Boiler operator, prior to his retirement. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers- Ben Allen and Buddy Arnett and a sister- Sarah Maxwell.

Daughters- Tina Allen, and
Tammy Payne (Bruce),
Sister – Diane Hardin,
Grandchildren – Taylor and Brock Payne, Xander and Lincoln Allen, Demi Allen, Ruby Allen, Kendell Allen and Claire Allen,
Great Grandchildren – Dasan Hunt and Sylvie Hunt.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
