Jeanette Dorman Duke entered her heavenly home on June 7, 2026, at NMMC Hospice Unit in Tupelo, MS while surrounded by her sons and granddaughter. Jeanette was born May 14, 1940, in Pontotoc County MS to William and Velma Plunkett Dorman. Her adult life was spent between Pontotoc and Leesburg FL where she worked until her retirement from Coca Cola Bottling Company. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
Her survivors are her children, Metro Duke of Port St. John, FL, Tessie Duke Eubanks of Lake Panasoffkee FL, Billy Duke (Shirley) of Pontotoc and John Brockman of Orlando, FL. 4 grandchildren, Michelle Duke, Melissa Duke, Jason Duke and Glenn Duke along with 7 great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Burl Dorman and Billy Dorman and a sister, Bobbie Dorman Hall.
Services will be held Thursday, June 11th at New Hope Baptist Church in Pontotoc. Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
