ATHENS-As the investigation into the May 11, 2026 courthouse terrorist threat continued, Investigators with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division worked to determine the motive behind the threat and identify all individuals involved.
Through the course of the investigation, Grzegorz “Greg” Krasowski was identified as the original conspirator. Evidence obtained during the investigation revealed that Krasowski allegedly solicited three separate individuals to act as hired assailants in an effort to have two victims assaulted.
Investigators determined that Everett Nathanial Welch initially agreed to assist Krasowski. However, on May 11, 2026 Everett decided not to follow through with the assault but instead call in a bomb threat to the courthouse.

Additional charges stem from separate criminal acts uncovered during the investigation. The Criminal Mischief charge resulted from allegations that Krasowski fired a high-powered pellet gun at a neighbor’s residence more than twenty times, causing significant property damage. The Perjury charge stems from verified false statements made by Krasowski while under oath during court proceedings.
Based upon the evidence gathered, probable cause has been established, and warrants have been obtained for Krasowski on the following charges:
Perjury First Degree – $15,000 Cash Bond
Three Counts of Criminal Solicitation to Commit Assault First Degree – Bond to be set by a judge
Conspiracy to Commit Assault First Degree – Bond to be set by a judge
Criminal Mischief Second Degree – Bond to be determined
