THE SHOALS-TVA has provided an update on the closure of Wilson Dam Road.
As of today the road over the dam will remain closed through September 1, 2026 as TVA continues to replace electrical lines and manage vegetation to support the safety and reliability of the power system.
This timeline could be extended if there happens to be a significant weather event.
