Wade Benton Tibbs, Jr., 64 of Dora, passed away Thursday June 4, 26 at his residence.
Mr. Tibbs was employed as a Manager with Wal Mart Inc., having worked for 40 years. He loved to fish; he loved animals of all kinds. He was an avid Auburn Tigers fan.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Tibbs; parents, Wade and Charlotte Tibbs; grandparents, Charlie and Janie Walker and his father and mother-in-law, James and Phyllis Patton.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Doris Patton Tibbs; his children, Lauren Wells (Ryan) and Leslie Gregory; granddaughter, Riley Tibbs; brother, Charles Tibbs (Becky); sister, Sherry Pate; sisters-in-law, Vicky Dishman and Barbara Patton; brother-in-law, James Patton (Donna); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral will be Tuesday June 9, 26 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 10-11 am.
