Mrs. Brenda Kaye Estes, age 78, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.
Mrs. Estes was born April 15, 1948, in Lamar County, AL, to the late William D. and Omie Newell Glasgow. She was married to the late William Estes and was a home health care worker with Big B Home Health. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, William Glasgow, Jr., Sherman Glasgow, and Jacky Glasgow, and her sisters, Jewel Lucas, Evelyn Bevis, Jean Gosa, Linda Garrison, and Mary Glasgow.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 10, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Thad Hawkins and Kenneth Salters officiating. A graveside service will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include three sons, William Estes of Birmingham, AL, Danny Estes of Cullman, AL, and Gregory Estes of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, Nicholas Estes of Elberta, AL, Kaylee Estes of Elberta, AL, and Ali Estes of Cullman, AL; two sisters, Edgilee Bobo of Vernon, AL and Janice Salters of Mt. Olive, AL; and three brothers, James Glasgow of Bay Minette, AL, Danny Glasgow of Jasper, AL, and Michael Glasgow of Jasper, AL.
