Robert Carl Davis, age 85, of Lineville, Alabama, formerly of Lapeer, Michigan passed away on
Sunday, May 24, 2026, with his family by his side.
He was born on May 16, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harry and Shirley (Bryan) Davis.
Bob graduated from Lapeer High School in 1960.
He married Margaret King on June 10, 1961 in Lapeer, Michigan.
He retired from Fisher Body in Flint, Michigan in 1990 after 30 years of service.
Bob loved working with wood, building houses, making baby doll furniture, camping and kite flying.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Davis of Lineville, Alabama, children, Daniel (Darlene) Davis of
Fremont, Indiana, Dennis Davis of Flint, Michigan and Duane (Wendi) Davis of Carleton, Michigan, 10
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and siblings, Shirley, Jerry, Joane, Judy, Donna, Marlene,
Debbie, Rhonda, and Terry.
He was also preceded in death by a son, David Davis, a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Davis, a grandson,
Dennis Davis, a great-grandson, Jordan Davis, and sisters, Pat and Sue.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 pm until 5 pm, Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the American
Legion Post # 16, 1701 West Genesee Street, Lapeer, Michigan 48446.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be directed in care of Luminary Hospice, 421 East Cook
Road, # 400, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825.
