Janice Savage Johnson, age 88, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, at Limestone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 10, 1938, in Piedmont, Alabama, to Gordon Russell Savage and Mary Opal Webb Savage.
She is survived by her daughter, Christa Young (Randy); sons, Russell Robert Johnson (Amanda) and Alan Johnson (Celia); grandchildren, Drew Young, Clay Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Trent Johnson, and Davis Robert Johnson; and great-grandchildren.
She has been preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert E. Johnson.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, Alabama.
