Dorothy ‘Dot’ Ann Bush Nash, 99, of Huntsville, AL, passed away May 23, 2026. Dorothy was born May 19, 1927, in Phenix City, AL. She retired with 28 years at Marshall Space Flight Center.
Survivors include sons, Guy and Chris Nash, both of Huntsville; grandchildren, Jennifer Sylvester of Huntsville and Jamie Nash (Amanda) of Fairhope; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Sylvester and JC Nash; and special friend, Martha Maroney. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, JC Nash; parents, Huey Lee and Ann Bush; and sister, Yvonne Devers.
Dot had a great love for her cat family and tending to her flower gardens. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Rev. Ray Worley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care.
