Thomas “Richie” Richard Haraway, Jr., 54, of Anderson, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Richie will be remembered as a kindhearted person who genuinely enjoyed the company of others. He was an artistic person who was a skilled wood worker. Among all things Richie was known for, being a loving father was what he was most proud of.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 30th from 12-2 at First Baptist Church of Anderson. A funeral service will follow at the church. Heath Harrelson will be officiating. A burial will be held in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Richie is preceded in death by his mother, Tricia Haraway; wife, Melanie Thomas-Haraway; brother, Scottie Haraway. He is survived by his children, Morgan Haraway- Thompson (Dakota), Thomas Richard Haraway, III; father, Thomas Richard Haraway, Sr. (Tammy); sister, Brooke Elizabeth McKnight; and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
