Stephen Ralph Griffin, 64, of Lexington, Tennessee, passed away on May 23, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born on September 23, 1961, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Stephen was a longtime butcher for Food Giant, a profession he truly loved. He took pride in his work and was known for his dedication and friendly personality. Outside of work, Stephen enjoyed cooking for his family, spending time fishing, and making people laugh. He was a jokester at heart, especially with his nieces and nephews, and never met a stranger. Stephen loved being surrounded by family and friends and will be remembered for his funny, outgoing nature — and for rarely being on time.
He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Vaughn; his brother, Richard Griffin; his stepfather, Eddie Stanfill; four nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Griffin and Barbara Stanfill; and his brother, Tommy Griffin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
