Ruth Ellen Jones, age 91 of Harvest, Alabama passed away at her home on Friday, May 22, 2026. She was born in Lambsburg, Virginia on July 18, 1934 to Robert Beck and Retis Shinault Beck. Ruth was a valued employee of Walmart for more than 10 years. She enjoyed working outside with her roses, doing yard work and even going through the neighborhood trimming the trees.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Retis Beck; husband, Haney Warren Upchurch; son, Terry Warren; brother, R. L. Beck; sisters, Helen Nichols, Mary Smith, Eunice Ward and Jane Trent. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Hoskins and Sarah (Calvin) Davis; grandchildren, Tabitha Cote, Jennifer (Shane) Thornley and Ronnie Lee Davis; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Joey) Martinez, Meghan McKeever, Cullen McKeever, Ethan McKeever, Alexis Davis, Kyleigh Davis and Logan Davis; great-great grandchildren, Miles Martinez and Raelynn Martinez; sister, Betty Bryant; brother, James Beck; a host of nieces and nephews.
