42nd Annual Muscle Shoals Street Rod Run Set for June 1

TUSCUMBIA- The Annual Muscle Shoals Area Street Rod Run will return to Spring Park in downtown Tuscumbia on Saturday, June 1. Approximately 250 street rods (automobiles manufactured in 1972 or earlier) will be on display all day on Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:00 p.m. According to Cruisin’ Style magazine these rods will be “from all over the South and will cover the gamut of rat rods to the high-end machines that are nothing less than works of art.”

The public is invited to attend the show at no charge. There will be a swap meet and vendors will be on hand during the event.

“This car show has become a Shoals tradition. We are pleased to have it come back to our area each year,” said Susann Hamlin, Executive Director of the Colbert County Tourism and Convention Bureau.  “I am always amazed at the meticulous work that has gone into restoration or customization of these wonderful cars. Individuals in all age groups will enjoy viewing them.”
