Mae Jean Kimbrough age 92, passed away Saturday August 30, 2014.Visitation will be Monday Sept. 1, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday Sept. 2, 2014 at 2p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens . Bro. James McCullar is officiating Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Kimbrough was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Lelah Prince; Husband Lewis Kimbrough; son, Larry Kimbrough, who was the apple of his mother’ s eye, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include daughters, Sue Jones (Bill ), Judy Nix ( Larry ).
Grandchildren: Bryan James (Jennie) , Sarah Patti (Stan), Kelly Jones, Elizabeth Kimbrough; Great- grandchildren ; Micheal, Jade and Kari;. Sister, Eddice Farris, sister-in-law Elsie Mae Prince and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Kimbrough was a life-long resident of Colbert County. A member of Crooked Oak Baptist Church, and a homemaker.
