Tennessee Valley Outstanding Teen, Quad-Cities Outstanding Teen, Tennessee Valley Miss, and Quad-Cities Miss
MUSCLE SHOALS-The 17th annual Miss Tennessee Valley/Miss Quad-Cities 2017 Scholarship Pageant preliminary will be held Saturday, June 18, at the Muscle Shoals High School auditorium. Four winners will be crowned: Miss Tennessee Valley’s Outstanding Teen, Miss Quad-Cities’ Outstanding Teen, Miss Tennessee Valley, and Miss Quad-Cities. The Teen competition will begin at 1:00pm with the Miss portion beginning at 6:00pm. The reigning Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen, Tiara Pennington, will be Mistress of Ceremonies for the Outstanding Teen competition.

The Miss Tennessee Valley/Miss Quad-Cities Scholarship Pageant is an official Miss Alabama/America preliminary. The Outstanding Teen winners will represent the Shoals area in the state Miss Outstanding Teen pageant next year. The Miss winners will represent the Shoals area in the Miss Alabama Pageant in June, 2017.
The Miss America Pageant system is the largest provider of scholarships exclusively to women in the world. Last year Miss Alabama offered approximately $5,000,000 in total scholarships.
