THE SHOALS – Monday morning nobody thought the rain was going to break. In fact a lot of Handy events were moved indoors because of the rain. But just as the organizers of Sheffield’s “Sunset Serenade” that’s held every year at beautiful Riverfront Park started getting plans-to-move underway… Lo and behold!!! The clouds broke and the sun came out. Some people would swear that Sheffield pulled off a miracle. Actually, according the the National Weather Service, it was simply a weather front that moved out of the area. Oh well…

Music was great as usual. “Wildwood Ruminators” and “The Josh Brannon Band” kept the crowd entertained as the sun sank below the trees on the Lauderdale side of the Tennessee River.
