Graveside services for Dorothy Jerry Graves, 74, of Vinemont will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Graves Gap Cemetery in Blount County, Bro. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Graves passed away Wednesday, April 3 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1938 to parents Carl Clinton and Ruby Lee Howard Curry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Graves; a sister, Joy Tucker; and two grandchildren, Bridget Graves and Candy Graves.
Survivors include a son, Edward Dewey (Laura) Graves II; three daughters, Jenny (James) Poteete, Doris Thompson, and Jean Loyd; two sisters, Dolores Brinkley and Carla Hogg; 10 grandchildren, Amy (Richard) Faucett, Angela Hensley, Christy (Andrew) Stevenson, Joshua Poteete, Arrow Terry, Preston Large, Courtney Pepper, Stacy Pepper, Brennen Graves, Jonathan Graves, and Brittany Loyd;12 great-grandchildren, Kassie Buttrey, Christopher Kohlhaas, Jacob Kohlhaas, Shawn Faucett, Samantha Faucett, Logan Poteete, Michael Hensley, Zach Hensley, Leslie Stevenson, Zoe Stevenson; Jul Calhoun, and Korlen Terry; one great-great-grandchild, Novembur Wilson; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, at the home of Arrow Graves, 125 Co. Rd. 1777, Joppa, AL, from 5-9 p.m.
