Juanita Vernette Terry, 96, of Trinity, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Danny Fuller officiating. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Juanita is survived by her son, Phil Terry and wife Kathy; son, Wayne Terry and wife Debbie; son, Reggie Terry; daughter, Vanessa Sauter and husband George; daughter, Paula Randolph and husband Larry; son, James Terry; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Terry; brother, Tommy James and wife Sarah Jane and brother, Alfred James.
Juanita was born to Herbert V. and Allie Mae James on January 17, 1927. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, woodworking and crocheting. She also loved spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Parkway Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Terry, Lee Terry, Wesley Randolph, Clay Randolph, Reggie Randolph, Adam McDaniel, Andrew Baggett, Jonathan Bailey and Jeff Smith.
