FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a press release concerning a fire that took place on Saturday, July 30.ย A body was found after the fire was extinguished a joint investigation concerning the fire with the Florence Police and the Alabama Fire Marshal’s Office has began:
“On July 30, 2022, at approximately 1:30 AM, Florence Police officers responded with the Florence Fire Department to a report of a house fire in the 500 block of Malone Cir. Florence Police officers assisted with securing the scene while Florence Firefighters fought to extinguish the flames. Ultimatley, Florence Firefighters located a body in the house.ย
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย The Florence Fire Department and the Alabama Fire Marshalโs Office are conducting a joint investigation concerning this incident. The body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy to be conducted.
