FLORENCE-North Alabama Medical Center will be conducting an emergency preparedness exercise on June 28, 2022 at approximately 8:00 a.m. This exercise will simulate the arrival of multiple casualties and injuries from an off-campus event partnering with multiple agencies such as Florence-Lauderdale Emergency Management Agency, Florence Fire Rescue, Florence Police Department, State
Troopers, Shoals Ambulance, Lauderdale 911 Center and the City of Florence Gas Department. The exercise will involve multiple actors playing the part of the injured. The activity will take place at Braly Stadium on North Royal Avenue and along the route to the emergency entrance to the Hospital. To ensure this drill is as realistic as possible, please avoid crowding and soliciting the area.
