TUSCUMBIA-The Tennessee Valley Art Association hosted a cultural festival celebrating India on Saturday, March 19 on the commons behind the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art. The festival featured art, dance, music, storytelling, and food This festival is the kick-off event for Darshan: Visions of India, a series of art exhibitions and events hosted by the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art and the Ritz Theatre.
The Darshan: Visions of India series will run for 6 weeks in the gallery. The festival celebrated peace, harmony and new beginnings. The day was perfect and the crowd enjoyed the art, food and fun. The Quad Cites Daily captured the event in photos and we present them to you here:
