Bobby Leroy Skinner died on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Oxford Medical Center. He was a resident at Tishomingo Community Living Center for a short time. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing Hank Williams songs. He also loved horses and cowboy hats. He never met a horse he couldn’t ride. Bobby was much loved by his family and will be forever missed. He is survived by his son, Gary Phelps (Tammy); his granddaughter, Amanda Murray; his grandson, Donald Phelps; great grandchildren, Ayla, Jacqueline, and Audra; his brother, Jerry Skinner (Dorothy); his sister-in-law, Linda Skinner; his nieces, Tammy Skinner Pugh (Dave), Rebecca Skinner Whitehead (Jimmy), Etta Carden (Buck), and Tammy Green. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stony and Artie Skinner; and his brother, Billy Paul Skinner. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 24, 2021 from 1pm until 3pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for 3pm, Friday, September 24, 2021 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by the family. Burial will follow in Bishop Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Skinner, William Skinner, Bryon Skinner, Dave Pugh, Buck Carden, and William Lee Skinner. Honorary pallbearers will be John Barnes and James Kay.
