ATHENS-The Athens-Limestone County Public Library Foundation invites everyone to downtown Athens for the 2nd Annual Storybook Stroll beginning April 30th.
Read a picture book while strolling through beautiful downtown Athens. There will be 3 books featured written by children’s author, Peter Reynolds.
Books will be changed every two weeks, so everyone can enjoy several times. Our first Peter Reynolds book in the Storybook Stroll will be The Dot, a story about a little girl named Vashti. She believes she can’t draw until, with encouragement from her teacher, she gains the self confidence she needs to draw anything!
At the end of the “stroll” use the QR code to receive a free ice cream cone from Kreme Delight! Each child that participates can earn one cone per book, so come back every 2 weeks to earn them all.
