Tennessee Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Florence

FLORENCE-On Monday, March 22 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person:

 “A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:14 p.m. Sunday, March 21, has claimed the life of a Cleveland, Tennessee man.

Jerome Cummings, 54, was killed when he lost control of the 2005 Harley-Davidson he was operating in a curve, left the roadway and struck a tree. Cummings was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred eight miles north of Florence on Lauderdale County 8. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
