Ms. Rebecca Ann Young Erby of Holly Pond, Alabama; passed away suddenly on the evening of Saturday – February 20, 2021 at the age of 76 years,
Ms. Erby was born in Albertville, Alabama on November 27, 1944 to the late Bill Young and Louise Smith. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and community.
Ms. Erby leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce her life; husband David Helton; sons, Allen Smith, John Wayne Erby and Billy Erby (Patricia); daughter, Teresa Bearden (Derek); 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Henry Young, Billy Young, James Young, Jean Young, Linda Young and Frances Young; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ms. Erby is at last reunited with her son, Timothy Peirce; grandparents whom raised her, C.D. Young and Cumi Young; siblings, Glenn Young and Johnny Young.
A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday – February 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday – February 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Casey White, officiating.
Interment will follow service immediately at the Solitude Baptist Church Cemetery in Albertville, Alabama.
Pallbearers escorting Ms. Erby to her final resting place will be; Anthony Erby, Roy Erby, Mike Seiber, Willie Holcomb, Steven Bearden, Eladio Villasenor, and Matthew Dorsett.
