  Mary Janet BlackMary Janet Black passed away at St. Thomas Mid Town in Nashville, TN. on January 20, 2021. She was born in Pulaski on August 28, 1944 and was 76 years old.
She was life-long native of Giles County. Longtime Member of the St. Andrews Memorial Methodist Church. Janet retired from Pulaski Rubber Company and was a substitute teacher at Pulaski Elementary School in her later years.
Visitation will be 11:00am till 1:00pm Friday January 22, 2021, at Bennett May and Pierce Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at the Indian Creek Cemetery in Giles County.
Memorial donations are asked to go to Kids Place: A Child Advocacy Center 614 W Point Road in Lawrenceburg, TN
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Allen and Evelyn Beddingfield Foster. Siblings Dallas “Dal” (Carolyn) Foster, Everett “Whack” Foster, Geneva (Bill) Edgen. Ben Allen Foster.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Jim Ed) Hill.
Grandchildren, Lauren (Justin) Cox, Grayson Holley, Tanner Holley.
Great-grandchild Paxton Cox.
Brother Owen “Doc” (Betty) Foster.
Sister-n- laws, Maudie Foster and Gerry Foster.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
