Graveside service for Glenda Bowen McAnnally, 72, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Fairview, Rev. Tim McCormick officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. McAnnally passed away September 26, 2020 at her residence. She was born November 24, 1947. She worked at Oneita Industries for over 35 years. She loved to cook and loved cooking for her family. She made the best orange rolls and chicken dressing in the world. She loved to dance. She loved spring and all the flowers and especially loved the buttercups in the spring. She also had a special love for her chosen son, Steven Barnes whom she cared for 30 years. She dearly loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius ‘Simon’ & Ellen Irene Stephens Bowen; husband, Melvin McAnnally; brother, Terry Bowen; sister, Margie Evans.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy (Ken) Netherton; brother, Larry (Pat) Bowen; grandchildren, Haley (Brett) Taylor, Caitlin Netherton; special chosen son, Steven Barnes; family and friends.
