Mr. Jimmy Mac McClendon, age 82 of Guntersville passed away Sunday September 6, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital.
Visitation will be Sunday September 13, 2020 12-2pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Jimmy McClendon memorial fund at Peoples Bank in Guntersville.
Mr. McClendon had a love for the water, lake life, restoring old cars, boats and many other activities. He was the owner of Mac’s Landing and Willie J’s restaurant which is now Top of the River and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #846 in Glencoe. He was referred to as bigger than life. He will be missed by many.
Mr. McClendon was preceded in death by his Parents; Joe and Willie J McClendon and one Sister; Harriett Roberts.
He is survived by Wife; Regina McClendon, Daughters; Kelly McClendon, Stacey Strauss, and Wendy King, Seven Grandchildren, and Nine Great Grandchildren, Sister; Betty Huff.
