William Stuart “Chance” Hatchett, 57 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Hatchett was born January 15, 1963 in Oakland, California to William Edward Hatchett and Irene Belcher Hatchett. He was a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church. He loved motorcycles, old cars and trucks, spending time with his granddaughter, family and dogs.
Survivors include his wife Lisa, one son, Jake Lindley, one daughter, Haile Hatchett, and one grandchild, Shyla Lindley.
There will be a graveside service Friday, July 3, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Hatchett Cemetery with Brother Ricky Lowery officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.
