Mrs. Roberta Phillips RobertsonMrs. Roberta Phillips Robertson, age 96, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her home in Sardis. She was born November 13, 1923 in Henderson County to the late Audie D. and Lucy “Clell” Hardeman Phillips. She married Ezra Gray “Bobby” Robertson on September 28, 1946. She was retired office manager for HIS Sportswear, loved gardening and flowers, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. “Bobo” as she was always called by her family, loved her children, grandchildren and family gatherings. She was the “backbone” of the family and was a selfless and loving woman who always put everyone’s needs before her own. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ezra Gray “Bobby” Robertson; one daughter, Kay Rainey; her brother, Bill Phillips; her sister, Clara Martin; and two grandchildren, Daphne Simpson and Jonathan Bingham. Survivors include her two sons, Phil Robertson (Anna) and Gene Robertson (Judy); two daughters, Debra Bingham (Johnny) and Edie Stinnett (Barry); thirteen grandchildren, Christopher Robertson, Talley Flowers (Justin), Katie Robertson, Clare Robertson, Kizer Robertson, Jacob Robertson (Darcie), Matthew Robertson, Caleb Robertson (Kiri), Robyn Schlichter (Jeff), Melanie Millinder (Darren), Joshua Welch, Todd Eason (Jill), and J. D. Stinnett; twelve great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Private, family only graveside services for Mrs. Robertson will be Tuesday at Marl Bluff Cemetery. Because of the Covid-19 concerns, and respecting the 10 or less group size, for the safety of everyone’s family there will be no visitation or services at Pafford Funeral Home.
