Jerry Thomas Rhodes passed away at the age of 81 on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Decatur County Manor in Parsons, TN.
Jerry Rhodes was born in Lexington, Tennessee on November 8, 1938.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Eldridge Rhodes, and Kathleen Essary Rhodes, both of Lexington.
He is survived by his daughter, Lea Ann Rhodes Wallis Jones (Quinton), a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, and his ex-wife Bonnie Evans Rhodes, all of Rayville, LA. He is also survived by his brother Don (Carol) of Bon Aqua, TN, and their family of TN and TX; and many cousins.
Jerry served in the US Navy and was stationed at the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX.
He was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church.
Jerry enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, golf, his dogs Buddy and Maggie, and relaxing at his cabin at Piney Creek Lake, surrounded by wonderful, caring neighbors.
Jerry wished for his ashes will be spread at the Tennessee River, which his family will fulfill at a later date.
