Mark Scott Smith, age 51, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
Mark proudly served his country in the US Army. He had worked as a crane operator on an offshore liftboat.
The family will hold a graveside memorial service at a later date at Sunny Home Cemetery in Haleyville.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fleming & Betty Chisholm, Earnest & Willie Smith; and uncle, Herman Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Sherman & Betsy Smith; brother, Mike Smith (wife, Tab); nieces, Lindsay Crunk (husband, Micah), Heather Smith, and Kaia Crunk.
