Athens Police Charge Suspect With Discharging Firearm Into A Residence

ATHENS-On Wednesday, November 4 Athens Police chief Floyd Johnson issued a press release on the arrest of a suspect who has been charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Residence and Reckless Endangerment stemming from an incident that occurred on November 23:

“Mytasia Mytasis Felton was arrested yesterday, Tuesday, November 3 on warrants for discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and reckless endangerment.

The charges are the result of shots fired at a residence in the 800 block of Sanders Street on November 23, 2019. Sgt Johathan Caldwell investigated the case and obtained the warrants for Felton’s arrest.

This case was an insulated incident. Felton was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
