Ms. Beatrice Davidson Davis was born June 29, 1927, in Colbert County to the late George and Mattie (Pride) Davidson. She departed this life on earth Saturday, August 31, 2019 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and joined First Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, Alabama. After marriage, she joined Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, where her husband was a member. She remained a faithful member until her death.
To cherish her memory, she leaves two devoted daughters, Lynda Pruitt, Muscle Shoals; Vernett McCray (Cledis), Sheffield; embraced as a son, PJ Winston (LeJoy), Russellville; one sister, Dorothy Bell, Cleveland, OH; one brother, Earl Davidson Tuscumbia; four grandchildren, Vickie Randle (Cornell) Nashville, TN; Carol Beverly, Florence; Cledis McCray, Jr., Sheffield; Kym Robinson (Geoffrey), Muscle Shoals; six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
