Johnie Mae Willingham, age 92 of the Argo community passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Sardis Cemetery on the River Road. Rev. Harold Spradlin and Gary Robinson will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She was a member of Argo First Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Lona Patton; husband, Buford Willingham; son, Buford Willingham Jr.; sister, Margene Davis; and brothers, Frank Patton, Bill Patton, Erskin Patton and Usher Patton.

Her survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Lane (George) and Gerry Latham (Larry); sister, Martha Willingham; brother, Bob Patton; grandchildren, Kim Lane, Chris Lane (Jesseca) and Keith Latham (Sharice); great grandchildren, Ethan Lane, Grayson Lane, Lucas Lane, Olyvia Mooney, Xander Mooney and Peyton Templeton; special sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Patton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends. The family would like to thank our friends at Comfort Care Home Health and Comfort Care Hospice for the care given.

Pallbearers will be Chris Lane, Ricky Willingham, Jamie Walls, Ronnie Willingham, Jeff Willingham and Dennis Willingham.
