Huntsville Man Dead After Being Involved In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Athens

ATHENS-On Monday, February 4 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle traffic accident that has taken the life of a Huntsville man:

“A two-vehicle crash at 9:45 a.m. today, February 4, has claimed the life of a Huntsville man.

Julian Santoyo, 30, was killed when the 1995 Honda Civic he was driving collided with a 2002 Chevrolet pickup. Santoyo was transported to Athens-Limestone Hospital where he later died. The driver of the pickup was also transported to Athens-Limestone Hospital with injuries.

The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 72 and Zehner Road seven miles west of Athens. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
