Ida Belle Huber, age 98 of Athens, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Huber was born February 16, 1920 in Limestone County to Edward King and Mary Jones King.
Services for Mrs. Huber are Monday, October 29, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Greg Lauderback officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 29, 2018 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathern Gale Durrett and husband Tommy and Martha Powell; son, Will Ed Huber; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Huber and son, R.L. Huber, Jr.
She was a member of Carey Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Warren Durrett, Pat Powell, Jason Huber, Michael Tanner, Jonathan Powell and Barry Powell.
