Mrs. Daisy Marie Dunagan Barker, age 94 passed away Oct. 21, 2018. She was born Nov. 27, 1923, in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Tera Eulon and Ona Eastham Dunagan of Somerset, KY.
She is survived by one son, Gary Ronald Barker and daughter-in-law Judy Carol Garland Barker; one brother, Denny Eugene (Gene) Dunagan; four nieces, Tera Lou Dunagan Hamilton, Sara Lynn Dunagan Crabb, Debra Jean Dunagan Allen; Kathy Lynette Dunagan Vita; two nephews Kippy Wayne Dunagan, and Donald Sherman Irvine; eight great-nieces and seven great-nephews. She is also survived by her beloved fur babies Micky and Molly.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Vernon Barker, two brothers Robert Tera Dunagan (Bob), and Kenneth Dunagan and one sister Betty Lou Dunagan Irvine.
She was a housewife and a retired cosmologist, a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church of New Market, AL, and a former Charter member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church of Somerset, KY.
Visitation is Thurs., Oct. 25, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Dr. Robert A. White. Burial will be in Somerset, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
