MUSCLE SHOALS-According to an article by No Plane No Gain, Connecticut and Maryland highlighted the value of general aviation in their state economies in September. General aviation is a vital contributor to the economy in every state, and several states have highlighted general aviation over the years for its contributions to the success of companies and citizens around the country.

Northwest Alabama Regional Airport (MSL) adds immense value to the Shoals area, as well as Alabama as a whole. MSL’s commercial airline, Boutique Air, connects Shoals residents to larger cities, and consequently, to the rest of the world. Boutique Air offers affordable fares to local residents or tourists exploring what the Shoals has to offer. Not only does MSL help boost tourism commerce, MSL allows business professionals to travel to and from Muscle Shoals with ease, comfort, and without breaking the bank.

Shoals Flight Center also fuels the state’s economy by training new pilots to send out into the field and providing service to private pilots that are flying into the Shoals or stopping by for fuel.
