Four-Vehicle Accident Leave One Dead Two Injured In Florence

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning a four-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday, September 15 resulting in the death of one person:

“A four-vehicle accident occurred on September 15, Saturday night that resulted in a fatality.

A vehicle was on Florence Blvd and entered the intersection of Cox Creek Parkway striking a vehicle, crossing Florence Blvd, in the side. That vehicle was pushed into two other vehicles. The driver of the vehicle that was struck in the side died at the scene. Two other occupants of the other vehicles were transported to ECM hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

We are currently confirming the identity of the deceased victim before we release her name.

Our traffic officers are still working the accident and will be getting assistance from ALEA. Once they have the accident report completed we will be able to release more of the details.”
