Seena Darlin Harrison, 65, of Cherokee passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Harris Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. George Henley and Bro. Chuck Bradford. She will lie-in-state from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Seena was a native of McNairy County, TN and a retired cook from Pickwick Landing State Park after 26 years of service. She was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church where she ministered through The Cooking Angels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Novada Harrison and sister, Lissa Harrison. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Seena is survived by her sisters, Doris Ingle (Benny) and Ruby Smith (Ray); nephews, James, David, and Benny Ingle; nieces, Mallory Wadkins (Dustin) and Chelsea Branscome (Drew); nine great-nieces and nephews; and 2 great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Thompson, Gerald, Darrel, Larry, And Curtis Wallace, and Colby Brents. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Goss and The Cooking Angels.
