Congressman Aderholt Celebrates 911 Call’s 50th Anniversary

WASHNGTON, DC-In a speech on Thursday, February 15  on the floor of the House of Representatives, Congressman Aderholt announced that in honor of the 50thAnniversary of the first 911 call, (which took place in his hometown of Haleyville), the famous, red 911 phone will be temporarily displayed at the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History.   Friday, February 16th, is the official 50th Anniversary of America’s first 911 call.
