Dot Hyde, age 87, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away November 15, 2017. She was a member of Ninth Avenue Church of Christ.
Visitation is Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church-Haleyville. Funeral service is at 3:00 p.m. at the church, with Nathan Carroll and Benny Knight officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by children, Chris (Kim) Hyde, Mike (Anita) Hyde, Matt (Heather) Hyde and Lea (Butch) Benton; grandchildren, Nathan (Joy), Katie (Ryan), Alex, Mary Taylor (Drew), Christy (Eric), Evan, Mallory, Sara Nan (Lane), Nelson, Blake, Beau, Mary Ashford and Sara Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Reece, Riley, Warren, John Israel, Tanner, Nathan and Parker; sister, Richie Thornton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by, husband Warren Hyde; parents, John R. and Nannie Lou Barnes Christopher; sisters, Laura Lon Jackson, Linda Shaw and Rachel Christopher.
