A Celebration of Life service for Joseph Sidney “Sid” Price, 89 of Corinth, MS, will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Military Honors. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M and Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Price passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 15, 1928 in Iuka, MS to Earl Price and Susie Bonds Price. Sid served his country in the US Air Force in the Korean War. He was a Shriner, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He enjoyed some gardening, bowling, hunting, fishing, being active at the American Legion and visiting with family and friends. He was a forman/plant supervisor in the automotive industry. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Joyce Robinson Price of Corinth, MS; his son, Joel Price and wife Pat of St. Louis, MO; his granddaughter, Kelley McGrane and husband Mike; his great-granddaughter, Phoenyx of St. Louis, MO; his brother, Jimmy Price of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Shirley Dees of Sarasota, FL and Reba Sachs of Sarasota, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Susie Bonds Price; his brother, David Price and sister, Christine Featherstone. Pallbearers will be Dustin Parker, Mark Shipman, Dale Dees, Jonathan Harris, Mark Houston, Brooks Dees. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom and Carrol Morrow. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Joseph Sidney “Sid” Price.
