Avis Bernice Sheahan, age 88 of Athens, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Sheahan was born on March 7, 1929 in Milford, Utah to Frank and Gladys Kuckenmeister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick Sheahan, and two daughters, Anne Theresa and Katherine Claudia.
Mrs. Sheahan is survived by two sons, Patrick Sheahan ( Rhonda) and Joseph Sheahan (Anne); three daughters, Martha Sheahan, Mary Fuller (Garry), and Sarah Sheahan; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 6:30-9:00 pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. No public service is planned.
