ATHENS-Athens State University and the Livingston Concert Lecture Series are pleased to present Dr. Adam Kowalik, Fulbright Senior Visiting Scholar, from Poland.  Dr. Kowalik will deliver an interactive workshop about “Market & Competitive Intelligence” on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  The workshop will take place in the Classroom Building, Room 101 at Athens State University.

Dr. Kowalik is currently a Fulbright Senior Visiting Scholar at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., conducting work focusing on business war-gaming.  With over 15 years of experience in business, Kowalik is an expert manager, instructor, and consultant, specializing in competitive strategy, market intelligence, and knowledge management. He also chairs the post-graduate studies Department for Strategic Market and Competitive Intelligence at Kozminski University in Poland.

This presentation is conducted through the Fulbright Scholar Program’s Outreach Lecturing Fund (OLF).  OLF enables visiting scholars to share their research interests, speak about their home country, and exchange ideas with U.S. students, faculty, and community organizations.  Through these lectures, universities forge relationships with the Fulbright Scholar Program, Visiting Scholars, and the Visiting Scholar’s home and host institutions.

All are cordially invited to attend.  To reserve your space at the interactive workshop, please email Joy Bracewell at Joy.Bracewell@athens.edu and Quanda Stevenson quanda.stevenson@athens.edu by May 24, 2017.   For more information about the Fulbright Scholar Program, which is administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars/Institute of International Education, please visit http://www.cies.org/.
