FLORENCE – Every year in April, The Shoals is home to Earth Day events. The biggie is the celebration such as we witnessed Saturday at Mcfarland Park on the grounds of the Florence/Lauderdale Visitors Center.
There were environmental awareness booths set up underneath the shady trees. Some great music and even a magic show by Steve Trash.
