Baptist Medical Center South Releases Statement on Governor Bentley’s Brief Visit

MONTGOMERY – The Director of Cardiovascular Services at Baptist Medical Center South issued the following statement regarding Governor Bentley’s brief visit.

“Governor Robert Bentley was admitted to Baptist Medical Center South with atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat),” said Tiffany Bass, MSN, RN, CNML, Director of Cardiovascular Services at Baptist Medical Center South.  “He underwent a trans-esophageal echocardiogram (TEE) and cardioversion procedure which has successfully restored a normal heart rhythm. On behalf of the staff at Baptist South, it is our pleasure to have provided care for Governor Bentley.”
